what is a

self-expression session?

I’m offering a new kind of portrait session that focuses on capturing your unique ENERGY in motion.

This co-creative process is designed to help you see yourself clearly and truly enjoy the process of having your photo taken.

I know how it feels to want to express your inner light, but struggle to see yourself clearly in the mirror. Through years of photography both in front of and behind the camera as well as an insatiable curiosity for self-discovery, I’ve realized that I could share the gift of self-expression through portraits.

How is this different from a normal photoshoot?

It starts off with a questionnaire to help you reflect on how you see yourself, how you like to express yourself, and reflecting on past experiences being photographed both positive and negative

Then we’ll set up a 20-minute call to get to know each other. I’ve found that the more comfortable you are with your photographer the more likely you’ll be able to feel at ease in front of the camera.

I’ll give you some (fun) homework to prepare for the shoot and we’ll also discuss fun details like location(s), outfits, props, and how to set the vibe!

What does it include?

The shoot is 1 hour and you can choose 2 locations with 2+ outfit changes. Within 10 days you’ll receive a digital gallery of 50+ high-resolution edited images.

These special photographs are something you’ll have to look back and cherish who you were at this moment in time. It’s something future generations will be able to treasure.

Testimonial

"It was an absolute pleasure working with Georgie. I’ve worked with a handful of photographers over the years, but none of them made me feel as confident and comfortable as she did. From her thoughtful pre-production process to her expert day of execution, Georgie remained kind-hearted yet professional. Georgie said something during pre-production that really stuck with me – she wanted to photograph me without simply focusing on my physical appearance. Usually, getting professional photos taken triggers negative self-talk. Knowing that she was less concerned with my stomach looking toned in a crop top and more concerned with how I felt shifted my internal dialogue to be a more compassionate one. Thank you, Georgie!"
